|My motto for September.|
So one of my main goals for the month of September is to track my intake (and hopefully lose a couple of pounds in the process). I have started and quit this so many times over the last 18 months, I am embarrassed to say, but I have never written it down and put it out there for others to see. So here goes...I am laying it all out here.
I should probably make a list of why I want to lose weight - pros:
1) preventative - don't want health issues as I grow older - this is the main one...heart disease and diabetes run in my family and honestly, that is a huge reason as to why I run and run so much...I don't want that for myself or my family as I get older...
2) maybe I wouldn't have to try on 12 different outfits before I go somewhere because I feel fat in everything....
3) increase in energy
4) my kids wouldn't tell me I am squishy! :-)
I am going to be using the app My Fitness Pal . If you by chance use that app and want to link up as friends, let me know. I am aloran96 and I can use all the motivation and accountability as possible. :-)
